So I painted the inside of my China cabinet.
Years ago I painted an inherited dining room set off white and distressed it with sand paper. Due to a necessary renovation thanks to two adorable puppies, I felt a change was needed. The new room has been painted in dark grey and white. I added black swirls to the back wall. I love it! Once the flooring is complete and the room back together I will post pictures.
Earth Week Lesson K-6
Recyclesaurus
Elementary students worked together to build, paint and decorate our "trash monsters" out of cardboard containers that were masking taped together (lots of masking tape!!). As each class entered the art room, they participated in the next step. Approximately 500 artists combined their efforts to create each "Recyclesaurus"!.
And so it begins...
Welcome to my ART blog! (I always capitalize ART because I feel it is so important in our lives.). I plan on using this spot to showcase the things I do in the ARTS: create, decorate, and teach (I have been an ART instructor of children ages K-6 for 24 years). I want to share projects, ideas and teaching lessons.
