Organized Chaos: I am an art TEACHER

LOVE this from Ms Novak - fellow elementary ART Educator

Organized Chaos: I am an art TEACHER: Do you ever want to shout "I AM A CLASSROOM TOO" or "I AM A TEACHER TOO"? I feel like this here and there.  Most times I don't feel singl...
Glass pieces waiting to be fired -one day will become nightlights and magnets.

"Dew"

China cabinet that was painted, now filled with family photos.  I love it!!!
Bucket of broken windshield glass.

Piled on the kiln shelf.

Summer has flown by!!  I have been working hard getting ready for my first Arts Festival of the fall season.  The annual Doylestown Arts Festival will take place September 15 & 16, 2012, 10:00 - 5:00.  The streets are closed in the center of town to make way for the many artists, musicians and food! It's a great time!

How awesome is this?!!  I used broken car windshield glass and fused it together.  It is gorgeous!  Who knew there were so many beautiful colors hidden in our windshields?  I am going to slump the wonderful new glass over a mold to create a vase/candleholder.  Light shining through it is amazing!  Another idea - nightlights!
